This magnificent, detached barn conversion is set in 8.5 acres of private grounds and is located within the pretty village of Porthpean, Cornwall in a National Trust Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It offers all-year-around peace and tranquillity.

The traditional stone barn offers a reverse-level setup with six spacious, well-presented ground floor bedrooms and a first floor lounge, all of which boast sea and country views from every window.

The range of bedrooms on the ground floor offer flexible sleeping accommodation and benefit from underfloor heating. There’s also a spacious and well-equipped kitchen with a beautiful dining area.

The first floor has a stunning lounge area with high-vaulted beamed ceilings, bespoke LED lighting, cinematic TV and a woodburning stove.

Outside you’ll find a patio area with a hot tub, a separate terrace with seating for up to twelve guests, a games room with pool table and juke box and a gym with rowing and weights machines. There is ample parking for several vehicles.

The little seaside settlement of Porthpean is close to Charlestown which is a delightful and much sought-after coastal village of stone cottages and Regency houses, on the south coast near St. Austell. Famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path, Charlestown is the perfect holiday destination. It has even been used as a filming location, most well-known for appearing in Poldark. The area is rich in golf courses with Carlyon Bay and Porthpean close by. The picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey is 6 miles away by car, while the Lost Gardens of Heligan, several stately homes and gardens and the fabulous Eden Project are all within 5 miles, with Newquay and North Cornwall coast 17 miles away.
