Silvermine House is particulary special as it has its own access to the South West Coastal Path on the entrance to the property
The South West Coastal Path is 630 miles long and originally created by coastguards looking for smugglers, along the coastline you will see many coastguard cottages still standing. You can make the coastal path an afternoon stroll and enjoy a cream tea along the way or perhaps a challenge to yourself and walk the many more difficult routes.

PORTHPEAN TO BLACK HEAD WALK
Distance: 5 miles/9km – Grade: Strenuous

BLACKHEAD & CASTLE GOTHA
Distance: 4.3miles/7km – Grade: Moderate
Figure of eight walk visiting the sites of two prehistoric forts in an area said to have been the seat of King Mark of Cornwall, uncle of the tragic Tristan of Arthurian legend.
The route travels through the woodland above the steep cliffs at Ropehaven, where past landslides have created a haven for wildlife.

Distance: 5.3 miles/8.5km – Grade: Strenuous
